Sandra Jacobs Moore
Artist Sandra Jacobs Moore has developed a wide ranging
number of designs in various media and finishes to help turn your home decor from ordinary into the extraordinary. Her hand-crafted
art has an inspiring beauty that draws from a variety of influences with the focus on natural elements.
Sandra has been painting since High School and has worked with several galleries in the Houston area.
She has done commissioned work with oils, acrylics and watercolors, however the past five years she has specialized
in glass painting.
Each glass and candle holder is carefully handpainted with multiple layers with the last layer
an accent color. This process takes over 3 days and then is fired at extremely high heat. This firing enables
you to hand wash without the worry of taking off the paint.
Each plate is painted on the back, using a mixture
of paper, leaves, glitter and paint. This process is done in many layers to create a look that is unique to only this
artist. After the layers dry, the back is sealed with an acrylic finish and signed, number and dated by the artist.
These pieces are truely one-of-a-kind and have been sold in several galleries.
